Make-A-Wish Project
This was a pro-bono team project for the Make-A-Wish program in Chicago, IL. The project included the design of a standalone structure for the wisher in which she could craft and hangout with her friends. The design includes a configurable space to store crafting supplies and a moveable table with built-in seating along with a loft to hold a bed for sleepovers. Materials and finishes were selected for optimal durability and little or no VOC pollution. Programming and the final design was successfully kept within the parameters of the Make-A-Wish directives and exceeded LEED and budget goals for the project.
